Comments Thread For: Froch: I Showed Why I'm Among The Best in The World

Carl Froch believes his knockout victory over George Groves at Wembley Stadium proves he is among the best fighters in the world. Froch retained his IBF and WBA super-middleweight titles with a crunching right-hander in the eighth round which floored Groves in front of 80,000 fans.

The win brings to an end months of wrangling between the pair since Froch controversially beat Groves in the first fight between the two in November.

Froch proved that Groves is nowhere near his level. I am glad that he humbled that clown.

you have a better resume than the self proclaimed TBE (HA HA HA HA).

froch is the best fighter in that division.

Why does everything link back to Floyd for some people?

imo froch is one of the greatest fighters of this generation. if i had to rank the top 3 greatest fighters of this generation, it'd be:

          1. wlad
          2. froch
          3. pacquiao

pac and floyd hasn't had a win on the same level as groves. at least they haven't been as dominant as froch.

            Agreed. #9 P4P easy.

I know P4P lists are opinions but if you have people like GGG or Garcia over Froch in your list then.

To me , Froch doesn't belong to the P4P when it comes to skills and notoriety.

Here are 10 boxers that deserve it more than Froch ( in no particular order) :

Pacquiao, Mayweather, Klitschko , Rigondeaux, Hopkins, Kovalev, Ward, Martinez, Golovkin, Garcia.

Froch's skills are overrated folks. His amazing fighting spirit keeps him where he is.

If he beats Chavez and/or Golovkin he would definitely belong there. I am still a bit sceptical about Froch for the moment...

Garcia beat Judah, Khan, Morales and Matthysee.

Froch beat Kessler, in a close fight, Pascal, Dirrell and Groves.

Anyway, I am entitled to my own opinion, I don't see anything shocking in placing Garcia above Froch.

The guy is a warrior strait up and ya hes an egomaniac but show me one great boxer that was not and ill show you someone who fakes it for the cameras.
