People keep forgetting that Froch has wins over : Kessler,Pascal, Bute, Taylor, Abraham, Groves X 2, and Direll. Froch does indeed have a better resume than does Ward..
But some of that is because no one wants to fight Ward..
Ward is high risk low reward and that spells bad business for more high profile fighters and their promoters.

Floyd on the other hand .. Saying Froch has a better resume is not entirely accurate.. Floyd has been fighting at championship level for longer than Froch has been boxing professionally...

However Froch has only ever ducked a rematch with Ward..Floyd's resume is perhaps more notable for who isn't on it or who is on it after they were past their primes. Floyd and his team are expert cherry pickers and so although Floyd might have a better resume he is a pussy and Froch isn't..
