I don't think so. Hopkins does well against very linear guys by making the fight awkward. Pavlik hit like an atomic bomb but he was very linear.

Froch is as awkward as it gets. The weirder the fight gets the more clearly he starts winning. He would be a bad style matchup for Hopkins.

Ward also beats Hopkins IMO.

yeah but what if froch threw a bunch of punches that didn't land, hopkins moved and countered him over and over, but froch won? froch would be a great fighter right? i mean if it applies to one guy it should apply to another guy that does the same thing.
