He didn't know he had a concussion. And I'm sure Gatti and a lot of other fighters would have continued.

I'm sure that with a concussion, fractured cheek bone and herniated disk in his neck, he new something wasn't right.

When you combine that with his keen-ness for quitting in the first place, that's the answer to the question here.

I'm not trying to justify it, but he was hurt, and he quits even when he isn't.

      Obvious answer here.

If you heard that, why did you need to create a post asking why he quit?

If I remember right he also felt he was getting a rough deal from the ref, who in his eyes was letting Tyson get away headbutts etc.

I don't know about the bleeding on the brain, but he was diagnosed at the hospital with a fractured cheek bone, a concussion, and a herniated disk in his neck.

Real reason why He Abdandonned the fight?
                    there's 3

1 He kept bitching about "headbutts" and the ref not doing his job/
                    2 He's not courageous enough.
                    3 He had a concussion.

You mean like an internal bleeding? He woulda been dead.
Or woulda been forced to go to the emergency..
