Gradovidh would be a great fight for Walters... Also think Juanma would be an interesting fight

That was shot down though after V12 won the super and the WBA said the two had to unify (since John never did), but for some reason let them fight on separate bouts on the same card.

Hell, before that, I thought Donaire would beat him... but his last two fights, the Vic fight especially, has made things really interesting and has shown this guy puts out vicious KO's. Still, Vic was the highest level opponent he's faced, would be interested to see what else he can do and I have a feeling we'll see soon enough

Now, I don't think Bob will put them in together and the WBA will oblige, for now at least

He'll put Walters on HBO and try to build him up and potentially match him with Nonito later.

But if Walters can put together KO's like that... Arum, although he probably won't admit it, stumbled upon a gem that he meant to sacrifice
Walters seems very boombastic semi fantastic.

I was on Donaire then and picked him for this fight....Walters too big and strong for Donaire. Jab was good in the fight too

Went down at the end of the 6th just like Pac.... unlike that though, Pac was coming on and Donaire was wilting after the third

Good for Walters, let's see if Johnny is next.

He has some star potential no doubt. If he can keep winning and making statements I think he could go pretty far.

I think Johnny is next with Loma/Evgany next in the little FW tourney.

I'm hoping Bob actually puts these good fights together... but odds are if nothing happens... it'll be Donaire/Gonzo with Walters/Cuellar.

              I hope not though

Walters destroyed him. I picked Walters by KO, but he literally beat Nonito at every facet of boxing. I've never seen Walters look as good as he did tonight, and then you take the opposition into account. Nonito's skill/experience never seemed to come into play.

I think Walters is part of TR's next batch of stars.

Was really impressed because he did better tonight than I thought he would. Was working that jab really well too.

I hope this FW tourney goes off

Even when Nonito seemed to have Walters in a precarious position, he could never capitalize. Walters made few mistakes too, and he wasn't falling into Nonito's traps. The jab never allowed Nonito to establish an offensive rhythm, and Walters was cutting off the ring. Just a great performance overall, he's definitely the Fighter of the Month.
