Wlad won but he really lost

I mean he got knocked down and looked very akward, had the fight continued there is no question that Williamson would have set Wlad up with another right hand. Very poor performance on Wlad's part, no doubt he won the fight up to that point but he didn not look like a man who wants to take over the HW division.

He got floored by a man who was KO'ed by Baby Joe in round 1, Wlad doesn't have it anymore, he needs to hang'em up.

It did to me, he was starting to open his mouth, but the difference was that he wasn't throwing as many punches as he did before. Still Wlad looked awkward and not that good. Had TOS been more active he could have easily won that spilt decision.

So Wlad looked horrible and awkward, yet he still beat a top 15 heavyweight 49-46 or 48-46 at the worst. I've been saying all along that I don't like the American style. Wlad looked awkward with it against Brewster and he looked awkward with it against Williamson. He needs to go back to the European style. He shouldn't be switching styles this far into his career like this. It was a legit KD, but its not like he was hurt at all from it. He was way off balance. He was throwing a straight right and had his feet way to wide apart, and only one knee touched the mat and his glove hit the mat first. Either way he came back to win the round. Its hard to look good when your opponent runs away the whole fight. Did you see Wlad v. Shufford? Shufford ran away the whole just like Williamson did, and it took Wlad 6 rounds to finish off Shufford, and Williamson is far more dangerous than Shufford.

He had a nose bleed before the fight.

Like I said he won but he did nothing to restablish himself as a top heavyweight.

Obviously its kind of hard to do that with a TD decision.

Regardless, he didn't fight like a fighter ready to take over the division. If he fights Ruiz or Brewster he'll get KO'ed for sure. Byrd may even have a chance to do that. Wlad's confidence is shattered and he is very afraid to get hit. When he does get hit he goes down.

He showed nothing great and even the Showtime commentators said that.

Actually he was hit with punches that were much harder than KD punch tonight and he didn't go down.

And apparently you missed the game plan. Why after the Brewster fight would you come out with all guns blazing throwing a high number of punches?
