The fight, stylistically, is definitely exciting. The thing is, we might not here much about the loser for a long time. Losing to Stiverne/Wilder is not like losing to Klitschko.

Wilder really needs this win but I wouldn't mind a tune up before this just to stay busy. Wilder needs to win this not only for the excitement he brings but because tho Stiverne is solid, he's old and fights a horrible Don King schedule once a year.

Tough match up though for Wilder since Stiverne counters with bombs. Patience is the key. If he can keep Stiverne at bay with the jab and make him be the aggressor he could KO him. Will be tough though. Great fight! Hope it happens!

      I hope for this....

      Wilder/Stiverne winner Vs. Klitschko/Pulev winner
      Fury/Chisora winner Vs. Jennings/Perez winner

Then those winners meet. With Povetkin vs Haye on the side!

Why should Wilder take a gamble with a tune up fight? This is the moment he's been waiting for, why risk it?

I think you guys just feel he's still not tested enough. Its too late for a test, he's secured the chance he wants already

This ^ in a nutshell. Wlad gets the winner. That's how it should be anyways.

I hope it happens! It would be verry interesting! Finally we would see how Wilder does against a Top-Opponent! Nobody wants to see Stiverne vs. Wlad, everyone knows how the result would be.

With these fights and Haye coming back, glory days could be apon us.

Too bad Vitali is now a mayor.

I agree with the guy who said this will be Wilders first test.

It wouldn't surprise me if Wilder is knocked down either, but I expect him to win.

FFS, NOVEMBER?!?!?! These guys cant put a fight together before then? Don King is worthless. Hopefully Wilders team has enough sense to take a fight before then, though they might be afraid of blowing their shot. Should be a good one when it happens.
