His precision, technique and footwork are all terrific

I've been high on Crawford since the moment I saw him. I love guys who can switch stance and not lose a beat. He's got excellent skills and he's already gone oversea's to get a belt and is fighting a legit opponent in his first title defense. Crawford is the truth, even if he loses he's got a long career ahead of him IMO.

I think he has a real chance,I also understand he has a long road tho..He's not even close to being the next big thing at the moment..A win over Gamboa won't do that for him either..It's a nice start,but only time will tell,and how he does over a long period of time against higher level fighters..I wish him luck,the kid is skilled and has some god giving talent..No doubt about that..

He is very talented but his fights tend to be on the boring side.

And by the way, you don't have to be a "face first brawler" to make things interesting, but fans like to see a fighter take more risks during a fight rather than just coasting to a decision even when its established that his opponent poses no threat.

Anyway, we'll see what happens.
