What are some sports that can be applied to the sport of boxing?

Basketball, the pace the game is played at and you need to be quick/explosive.

As an American, I wish half these crazy athletes that end up playing college basketball, let alone in the NBA, had tried boxing at some point. They have the size, the speed, the hand eye coordination, the only thing we don't know is the chin and heart for the sport and I'm sure at least some of them would have that.

It would make for one of the most corrupt eras in boxing history, dudes will ask Al Haymon to fabricate their records then cash out on an ATG flop against the next Deontay Wilder.

And...I'm convinced that's where Pacman learned how to feint so well.

Basketball has the closest footwork, that's how I try to explain it to people who DKSAB.

                    Basketball,
But most basketball players are finesse
And dont have heart to fight ,no experience
Which leads to no chin and a willingness
To sweat but not bleed.basketball leads to upper body movement and footwork and explosiveness

                    Football
most fooball players are built and stiff
                    Yet athletic,,strong brute strength developed
But no experience or resolve, again leads to no chin
And less skill then could have been

                    Soccer-leads great balance ,Strong lungs,footwork
And most soccer countries are also boxing countries
So they go hand and hand like basketball
                    For the mostly black fighter.
soccer players have tougher chins but less upper body skill then basketball players
