i hate him because he's a giant beanstalk just waiting to be chopped down. his last 'win' was a disgrace to boxing.

but we know why you love him, and it's not because he's american

and why are you talking about fury & chisora? this is about povetkin (and wilder)

Povetkin would knock him out. I think Povetkin had a really bad off night vs. Klitschko. Obviously Wlad had something to do with it. But I think Povetkin mentally broke halfway through the fight when he couldn't close the distance and land anything on the inside.

He's explosive, he's got good boxing skills and I think he would beat anyone in that division.

Povetkin schools him. Wilder is all hype. First real test hes going to be brought into deep deep waters.

Povetkin would walk through Kimbo Slice 2.0. Stick to fighting internet trolls and paying journeymen to dive.

povetkin doesn't rip anybody's head off. i don't think you actually watch fights.

i'd pick povetkin to beat wilder if they fought next, but he's not going to simply destroy him. that's not what he does, and certainly not what he'd do against a guy with that much reach, speed, and power. he'd rely on his experience and boxing ability. we don't know what wilder has in late rounds, and that's what povetkin would look to find out.

depending on what his maturation process looks like as a boxer, i'd say that wilder will be ready for a povetkin level opponent in a year and a half. there's a reason why wilder's being moved slowly. there are several, actually, but the big one is that he's just barely starting to look like a professional boxer.

wilder has a ton of talent. he's huge, fast, and hits hard. that you all so quickly discount his talent speaks to your lack an eye for it, and also your bias.

must have had an off night against marco huck, too.

oh, and he lumped up and turned purple against eddy chambers, the fat version.

he damn near ripped charr's head off. and i wasn't talking about povetkin's past fights, i was talking about what would happen if povetkin meets wilder. learn to read.

it would be very interesting to see what happens once povetkin lands cleanly. don't be surprised by a KO within 3 rounds.

                      only one: he's garbage.

he has no talent whatsoever. moves horribly, too tall, no chin, ridiculously overrated power (scott 'KO' was a set up & couldn't KO a welterweight) and not particularly fast either.

should've stayed in basketball. boxing ain't for him. damn beanstalk.
