nobody is born a fan, we all become fans of the sport at some stage and start getting into it. if you have millions and millions of dollars why not get into it at ringside? is there some rule you have to watch X amount of fights at home before you are allowed to watch a fight live?

makes no sense. besides, all big boxing events are star studded, its one of the ways to tell its a big event and it creates electricity in the arena. the fact that its so important people who dont usually follow the sport feel a need to be there.

I hate "celebs" in general. The idea of that annoying geek in high school drama class growing up to be exalted to god status by lonely fat chicks who watch TV all day is surreal.

I like them there,shows how big boxing still is. There are some die-hard celebs too who attend evry big fight like: Magic,Walberg,Denzel, Metta World and Stalone to name a few who attend almost all big fights and many others.

Met tons of celebrities at the fights..MSG next weekend will be loaded with them. Met, Pauly from the Soprano’s, Carlos Beltran NY Yankees, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Rene Calle 13, Livan Hernandez, Mel Kiper (Big Cotto fan) and tons more. There mad cool..At least the ones in NY and Atlantic City are..Don’t know about Vegas or L.A…
