New Opponent and date confirmed for Rigondeaux!!

Why couldn't ESPN buy the rights to televise this bout? Now that they are getting back in the fight game with airing major championship bouts and all?

With all due respect to rigo because he is easily 1 of the best fighters in the world. but if hes drawing low ratings on HBO it most likely wont change on showtime, espn, or anywhere else.

Saw this earlier. Bob doesn't want to make a rematch with Nonito so its just as well if rigo goes.

Hpefully, GBP has some decent fights for him.

Damn, I feel bad for the guy. It's as if he is too good for his own good, or a victim of his style.

That's why a certain degree of theatrics never hurt your career.

Interested to see what his next move is. He won't ever make as much money as he did with Arum but he can come close by staying active, travelling and staying unbeaten.

I saw that when I was looking at the schedule yesterday. Sad when one of the best boxers in the world is not headlining a card but the co-main to Zou Shiming (SIGH).

"Arum said that Zou will face an opponent to be determined in his first scheduled 10-round bout, in what is supposed to be his final fight before challenging for a world title in the fall."

                  WTF???

Glad he's back in action. Hopefully we can get one these other 122lb pretenders in the ring with him soon
