DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - Iron Mike Productions (IMP) has signed undefeated 2012 Ukraine Olympian Ievgen "The Ukraine Lion" Khytrov (4-0, 4 KOs) to a promotional contract. IMP will co-promote Khytrov with New York-based Fight Promotions Inc.

"I watched the first few fights of this exceptional young fighter's career and was very impressed," IMP CEO Garry Jonas said. "So, I was pleased when Fight Promotions Inc. approached us to co-promote Khytrov's career. He is an aggressive, accurate puncher whose style of fighting fits with the type of fighters and fights that we want to promote."

Haven't seen him fight, but he sounds like a legit prospect. Hopefully he can be that first star prospect for Tyson.

Yep, v Ogogo. Scored a few knockdowns and lost on a countback... shame, because he could have got Gold in the end.

It wasn't a few knockdowns lol, Khytrov won though. He looked good, but not that impressed with his pro fights so far.

Can't remember, sure it was 2 though? In any case, yes, he (should have) won.

He's looked solid so far IMO, still perhaps some defensive issues but he's won all his fights by KO and looked fairly comfortable with good offense, not too much more you could ask for.

He's looked good so far for his stage and level of opponent. Surprised he's on tv so fast, he'll be on showtime soon

Well he fights next weekend against probably his toughest opponent yet. I just don't like his defense its very sloppy and yeah I know it's early days but these are the basics. He can't take the punches he has been doing so far when he faces World level opposition.
