Comments Thread For: Garcia Says One Punch From Donaire Might KO Vetyeka

Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire promised an "explosion" when he seeks a world title in a fifth weight division against WBA super champion Simpiwe "V12" Vetyeka of South Africa at the maginificent Cotai Arena of the classy Venetian Resort Hotel

So, wing the left hook and hope he can time it right and hit hard enough to score a KO? How is that a new strategy?

FFS, Donaire better do a little more than that.

i hope it's not donaire's strategy to go for a KO. hopefully with his dad training him he'll go back to being a boxer rather than trying to be a brawler.

                  HMmm..

I got a bad feeling for Donaire in this fight... It's in the back of my mind that Donaire might regret taking this fight. But as long as he doesn't overlook Vet he might be okay "might" I say. But something tells me he's not going to give the South African the respect he deserves just because he's not a "Big Name" in the U.S., and if he doesn't then he will pay for it...

I would be shocked if Donut-Air starches Vetyeka. I think it's going to be the other way around. Donut Bwaaay is no defensive wizard, and Vetyeka is extremely busy and accurate. And Donutski still doesn't seem himself since the Rigo butt whipping.
