I don't see the Canelo fight happening. Canelo would have to give up too much weight for it to even be reasonable.

Team pac will ask for a 149 catch weight, but Canelo doesn't need Pac so he will tell him to go fck himself. If he fights Pac, Pac should be offered the same catch weight that Mayweather received. And if that happens, Canelo would probably end Pac's career!

After the mayweather fight I highly doubt Canelo agrees to a fight below the 154lb minimum. Don't see this happening. I'm not against catch weights if a fighter agrees to it, he agreed to it. What I do hate is all the trash talking after said fighters lose and their fans need something to grasp at. Cotto fought Clottey at 146 and fought Pacquaio at 145...those 12 ounces have haunted Pacquaio for years now as an excuse why Cotto lost. Same goes for Canelo agreeing to 152lbs to fight Floyd. They agreed to it and lost that's on the boxer who lost not the guy who asked for it and won.

Now watch Pac get credit for doing this fight at a catchweight. Alvarez said on this very website that he was willing to drop to 150 to fight floyd mayweather. And people said floyd wanted it. Canelo was not the sole reason the fight selling out. Floyd was the A side. Canelos fight with Angulo, grant it was his first headliner, but all those fans were not canelos. Canelos fans wouldnt boo him or throw trash on him as he walkes back to the dressing room. So aince this writer credits canelo; his fight witb Lara better top a million.

That's a pretty insane comparison hitking..he fought Angulo. Angulo was not a ppv driving name...I know he's the only comparison we've had to make, lets wait and see what the Lara numbers come in at...even those numbers can't compare because Floyd vs Alvarez were two popular and known names. Lara is still trying to get to that point, angulo will never reach it. I mean it can't be denied that when you do 2 million plus buys it has to do with the entire card...that's never based off one name. Also people genuinely believed Floyd was going to lose that night...i'm still shocked at how little alvarez let his hands go in that fight.

Lara's fight with Angulo brought in shhh numbers on premium cable fam...both lara and angulo been trying to reach that level of noteriety..they haven't. I highly doubt Lara brings anyone but Floyd a million buys.

Canelo isn't going any lower than 154. I'm about 99% sure of that. IF (a big IF) he changes his mind he'll go as far as 152. Pac should give him that extra 2 lbs. Dangerous? Yes, but Cotto is fighting a middleweight. Take notes, Pac. Also, it's been a while since Pac produced big PPV numbers. If he and Arum want to hit a historic 2M buys they're going to have to make a bit of a sacrifice.

This is the most *******ed article ever. First the author mentions it was Canelo who brought in big numbers, NOT FLOYD. Wow. Sure, Canelo helped a lot. But to insinuate Floyd is the lesser star is explosive garbage. Rhetorical question: How many 1M PPV buys has Canelo brought in as the A side? Everyone says Floyd's last fight "flopped" in terms of PPV revenue but it will still end up being the highest for the entire year. Secondly, Koncz mentions JMM deserves no more than $5M?! GTFO. Margarito received $6M if I remember correctly. Koncz talks like JMM still needs to carry around Pac's jock strap after knocking the F out of Manny and arguably winning 3 if not all 4 fights.

Keep your pathetic $5M. Marquez's masterpiece artwork of Pac laying lifeless on the canvas is worth so much more. It's beautifully engraved in everyone's mind and JMM is quite happy with that.
