I think staging it in the big room is a bit risky. Golovkin's biggest audience has been what, five thousand? Now he's fighting in a twenty thousand person venue. I'm not sure if he has the drawing power to fill the big room at the Garden.

Yea, I'd say be cautious.... but in his last fight, he attracted a lot of people who didn't know anybody other than Golovkin.

Was pretty much a full house, but that's about 5k.

I say give it a try and see how it goes... but for the love of God, try to cater some of the non-televised or even the televised for the NY locals.

Try putting Seanie Monaghan on there or even Dusty to attract the DMV crowd. I bet Salita wouldn't mind getting some of his star of David kids on the unteleivised slots.

No info yet... but I imagine it'd be like 25 for nosebleeds and over 100 for the decent seating... just guessing right now... I have no idea. They might be a little conservative with the prices to make sure people come

In an ideal world, Golovkin would be fighting Quillin or Sturm to unify. But Quillin won't fight any decent opponents and Sturm makes too much money in Germany. One of the worst things that could have happened was Sturm getting a belt again. Given his history, that belt will be in Germany a long time.
