danny is little JMM lite in some aspects of his game, at the very least it will be an interesting fight. more so than a floyd fight would be, imo anyway.

Pacquiao is past his prime, Garcia beat Khan and Matthysse (not even knocked down by Lucas) and after that he had a bad night against Herrera (I had it a draw). Style makes fights and Herrera's style isn't the same as Pac's. Pac alway struggled with the effective counter puncher (+ serious punching power) JMM. Now peradventure Garcia is an effective counter puncher with serious power. Not as combinative as JMM in turn he's fresher and younger, than the mexican.
On their second fight Bradley hurt Pac once. Bradley, with his 12 knockouts. Maybe Danny not as fast as Bradley, but his timing is great so I can really imagine that this fight would goes out like the Pac VS JMM 4. Otherwise, if Pac would be wiser, he could win by UD, because he's clearly faster than Danny but Pac unwonted just boxing form the outside so I don't know...
IMO 50-50, this would be an intriguing matc up. Let's make it!

Exactly. Get a career high pay day and possibly get ruined after the fight, or get a career high pay day, and get pot shotted for 12 rounds? Not that hard to consider.

Also, it's not like he hasn't been thoroughly out boxed already. I doubt Floyd will hit Danny as much as Herrera did. Not his style.

It's a decent fight, a fresh fighter for Manny instead of rematches and trilogies. I'd pick Manny by UD (Pacquiao isn't stopping anybody now) but you never know, Garcia has risen to the occasion on several bouts nobody gave him a chance in. Wouldn't be surprised to see Swift drop Manny on his ass sometime during the fight.

This is not even close to a 50/50 fight. Take away Danny's left hook and he's ordinary.

I wasnt talking about mismatches. I was talking about the punishment side of it. And who of note has Garcia KOed with that infamous left hook? And now hes supposed to KO Pacquiao? If Herrera, Judah and Morales had him bleeding like a gutted pig I can only imagine what Pacquiao's combos would do to him.
