    Boxing Throwbacks

Jack Dempsey one of the all time great heavyweights! Going from a hobo fighting in bars for money to being the heavyweight champion of the worlds fighting in front of 90 thousand plus fans! On paper he has 65 wins(51ko's) 6 losses and 11 draws and 1 no contest... However nobody knows the true amount of fights he had as he used a different name(kid blackie) when fighting at times up until the year 1916.

Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns a 5 weight world champion(6 if you count the WBU/IBO at cruiserweight), one of the Fab Four who was from a time when the best fought the best! And what a time that was who can forget his second round demolition of Roberto Duran... Here's a debate! What do you guys think would have happened had him and Floyd Mayweather jr been around at the same time... Would Floyd's unbeaten record still be in tact???!!

"Smokin" Joe Frazier... Olympic gold medalist, undisputed heavyweight champion of the world! Not many people know this Joe couldn't hold his left arm completely straight due to a childhood injury from when he was getting chased by a 300lb pig. Fell and badly hurt it! Probably one of the reasons he developed such a mean left hook over the years... where does he rank on your list of all time great heavyweights?

Anyone remember this feeling? Pre-fight in the dressing room, this is it every mile you ran, every round you've done sparring, all the endless hours of training and every drop of blood and sweat you've shed in preparation comes down to this one night! You make your way through the crowd and climb into the ring... You stand toe to toe with your opponent for the very first time touch gloves and sounds out! Round one.... You become totally oblivious to your surroundings, you suddenly develop tunnel vision it's just you and him, can't see or hear anything else but your opponent! Can honestly say there's no better feeling in the world! You have no one to save you, nowhere to hide if you win you won! And nobody can take that away from you same way if you lose there's no one else to blame... And that's why I feel boxing is the greatest sport on the face of this planet I love it !!!
