haha that quote just makes ward look petty. I think he should have maintained his cool and cleared up business with his promoter or taken the froch rematch when i twas offered, now he'll never get to fight in a lil village stadium like wembley.

The skills are there no doubt, but he's acting like a major diva. It's the myth that he cleaned out the division that bothers me as well. Also due to inactivity and not putting in much work when he does(meaning not that great of opponent), he doesn't deserve that #2 P4P rating at all. That is a disrespect to the great fighters that have been working hard fighting and doing it against much better opponents than Ward.

You can't call it a domestic fight when HBO's carrying it in the US, you've got the largest live boxing audience since the 80's and there are two WORLD TITLES on the line.

That's where Ward saw himself after he won the Super 6, but his business decisions came back to bite him hard, hence the bitterness everytime he hears Froch's name. He's gonna have to get in with JCC Jr. soon and hope those Mexican buys boost his perceived PPV value cos at this rate, he's gonna be the poorest top-10 P4P fighter out there.... and that's including Rigondeaux on the list!

          Skillz

Like whipping a quick punch and initiating a clinch immediately.

Ward is dreadful to watch, HBO need to stop broadcasting his garbage fights.

Out of interest, who do you guys see Ward fighting next? Kessler rematch (abroad for Christ sake)? I think he's the WBC Emeritus champ still so he may get a quick route to rematch Bika for a belt. Or should he move up and gatecrash the Kovalev/Hopkins/Stevenson party at 175?

I don't hate him but I'm just not a fan of his, he's quite easily forgettable sadly because of his inactivity

Problem with Ward is that he doesn't realize he has very little drawing power compared with other top fighters. Demanding millions each fight shows his delusion and business naivety.

He needs to build on his fanbase. The only way for him to build up his fanbase is by fighting...which is exactly what he is not doing.

Seems like its the inactivity mainly. Boxing fans really hate inactivity.

Ward is a domestic fighter, not world level.
