BTW - I like Sergio. I always root for him in his fights but something tells me that its going to be an upset fight. Conventional boxing fans will base their opinions on the obvious (Size, power etc) but Cotto and Freddy see something different. Freddy Roach is a veteran. Freddy roach has trained Chavez Jr and a bunch of other fighters. He's felt their punches on the mitts. If Freddy says that Cotto has a shot, then Cotto has a shot.....

Way different scenario. Martinez wasn't even known back then. Hamed was a well established champion coming off some of his biggest wins particularly against Kelley.You can't compare the 2 at all.

You can compare, it's the mentality. Look at how when Cotto lost against Margarito as well but he still kept going. Some people get too sentimental with losing. Losing is part of the game when you face elite fighters the majority of times.
