Deontay wilder is the savior of heavyweight boxing

Deontay wilder is the savior of heavyweight boxing!

I wrote a article on boxing scene back in 2008 on Wilder. Many on BS made fun of my prediction. Its been a long road but Deontay has developmoment the tools needed to complete his mission. At this moment there is no one out side of klitscho that can beat Wilder. His jab is hard ,stiff and fast. His right hand is the most dangerous in all of boxing at this very moment. He fights tall and he utilizes his reach.Hes aggressive, he brings that killer instinct and intensity. Something thats been dead in heavyweight since the klitscho take over. Wilder is a man that fights for the glory of fighting. He's hungry and he's AMERICAN. Wilder is the savior of boxing for many reasons. His fame will once again open the gates and spark the intrest of boxing in many for America's young big men to follow. I love watching a 6,8 heavyweight giant move like a welterweight in the ring. His hand speed and agility is what makes his super special. Now bow down to the next Dominant heavyweight world champion, the future of boxing, the savior of boxing, Deontay Wilder.

maybe if he actually turns out to be the goods. Given his "modest" level of competition it's hard to get a read on his true skill level.

And since you wrote the article in 2008 Wilder still hasn't fought a credible opponent. Until that happens neither Wilder or your post should be taken too seriously.

I would say from a publicity standpoint this is somewhat true. The heavyweight crop now sucks lemons, plus, people are so blindly patriotic and race-proud that they have to have a champion that looks like them for said champion to be a sell. That said I still can't shake the feeling that where not getting the whole picture on Wilder. Why is his management so set on coddling him? Maybe his skill set is lacking in some aspect. I mean from the outside he looks a little wild to me, likely to get caught big by somebody with some speed. Also I feel that his own speed is overrated and that there are some guys further up in the division rankings who can beat him to the punch. I wouldn't write off Stiverne just yet, and I know that Wlad is faster. The really entertaining possibility is that with Wlad's chin and Wilder's power it might not matter if he's faster or better than Deontay because all it will take is one landed punch to change the whole game.
