          He's TBR #7, probably the gold standard of rankings (amusingly in the context of this discussion, he's above Rigondeaux).

          Much more reasonable cause for the love he gets is fans love the guy because of his past, and well frankly he is a big fish in a little fishless pond... of course they love him. Not often do they get to have the very very second best in a division ! I get it, and it's a good thing for boxing to see that type of support. I wish every second best boxer in every division would get that type of love in the States.
          You forgetting Calzaghe was #1 in this very division before he retired?

          The support for Froch didn't come overnight, but frankly nobody in world boxing deserves it more.
