Not necessarily. He made the transition from pressure fighter to quasi-slick boxer when he moved up to HW. He could outbox big, lumbering HW's, but at LHW and CW he relied mainly on his power and toughness and got hit plenty.

Adamak at LHW had 20KO's in 32Wins, was abit of a beast. I think he would have beat the living daylights out of Adonis, a HW Vitali barely stopped him theres no chance Qauckenson does.

Adamek is a way better boxer than stevenson... its not even debatable.. his combinations and ring generalship in his prime totally surpasses stevenson, who has decent skills and great power

I'm not debating that he is more skilled than Stevenson. All I'm saying is that at LHW he was on the slower side and got hit a lot. Prime for prime I can see him grinding Stevenson down if he can take Stevenson's power, but that's a big if.

Not that big of an if. Stevenson hits hard, but not as hard as the CWs and HWs that have hit Adamek clean with little affect most times. He's got a serious chin.

Adamek as he is very solid in the skills department, can take a good punch and will outbox Stevenson.
