How many drive by shootings were there in the 50 and 60s compared to the 90s and today...
Im not trying to place the blame solely on rap, but they are not helping matters at all
And i do know what im talking about,, how many hoods are in Zambunda or wherever you claim to be from.... I lived my whole live in chicago and peoria, and in my 20s donated thousands of hours to under priveldeged kids and gave them boxing lessons, drove them to competitions, bought their epuipment, feed them on road trips, so dont act like i dont know what im talking about... Plus in my younger days i dealt drugs from 15-25 years of age, have been involved shootings twice, and spent the majority of my time as the only white guy "below the hill" which is the ******... My best friend is a black guy that i vacation with every year...
Im not just some idiot white dude spouting off at the mouth, without ever actually being part of it...
I never said hip hop is the cause of it... They are doing nothing to help it though.... Name a rapper that raps about good stuff, like saving money, doing good in school, etc...
Obviously hip hop didnt start it, but its the most influential force in urban communities and it does nothing to bring people up, all it does is glorify the negatives..

To argue that is totally idiotic

All under God's eye he reminds us. Is this Floyd fool messed up or what? All his kids out of wedlock, says he wants more kids, had Miss Jackson prego out of wedlock, until she got an ********, not gonna mess with a married woman or even a separated or divorced woman, BUT he'll hit the strip clubs and rain thousands of dollars enabling several of those strippers, married, separated, or divorced, painful lifestyle. Floyd is on the same path Tupac was on.

It's about being a high profile African American with too much money, unable to handle the fame, playing the gangster role in life, in fighting amongst their own, can't stay out of trouble or questioning with the law, later find things go sideways. Floyd in his last all access points out on the Vegas strip where he was standing when Tupac got plunked. These guys are all thugs; sorry that's tough to hear.
No it's about the ignorance your perpetrating, that's the exact reason why we as people can't move forward "IGNORANCE!!!! What do you know about living Floyd's or TI's life? It's very clear that you don't know ****!!! Why does a very successful young AA man have too much money? I guess it's cool for all the rich white kids to go out and kill for no reason? Young AA men can't have heavy testosterone flow, a bad day, a bad moment, etc but others can? You have just showed us the biggest problem you have with Floyd who was basically innocent in this situation.

This is such a ****** comment that I want you to step back and really think this time before you respond. Let me repeat, those areas were rife with crime and poor before hip-hop existed. Now...let it go.
Without ever being a part of what? Tell me.
Poverty existed before hip-hop and will exist after it because hip-hop has nothing to do with it.
2. Sure there was crime before hip hop, but what has hip hop done to improve the situation,, the ones with power and influence do nothing,,
There are some great people that actually do care, but to the media and society the only ones that get recognition are the ones that highlight the negatives and not the positives
3. Without being part??? I was talking about white idiots that are racist that have never been in urban areas, never known under-privilegded youth, never been in an urban minority environment...
Donald sterling is a prime example,, he is a disgrace to the white race and should be in hell right now.... rush limbaugh is another example,, guys that have never been anywhere near an urban environment making claims... I have been born in raised in an urban minority environment so i feel like i have a better insight than those idiots
4. yes crime happened before hip hop,, but hip hop is one of the most infleuntial forces in society especially with urban youth, and hip hop has not tried to make things better, instead of focusing on the positives, they glorify the negatives....
