Now tell me, what exactly does he do that makes him this threat to Floyd?
You on some crazed stuff now. Maidana couldn't come close to duplicating what Ruslan did to Bradley - Alexander was even too much for Maidana. Devon schools him badly again. I mean that was such a bad fight for Maidana, he almost retired. I'm not making this up. Even in Ruslan's losses, Herrera, Bradley - they were so close and could've gone either way. Maidana has been schooled several times over - every time he steps up competition, he loses. The simple fact is, it really burns some of you that there's fighters who can actually compete with Floyd. That's the ridiculous thing here, you're getting bent out of shape at the idea of another "unskilled brawler" taking it to Floyd. As predicted, Maidana is some great fighter now since he simply held and hit Floyd for a while.

Almost close to nothing because he was not throwing nearly enough of punches to seriously challenge Tim because he had gassed himself out earlier by attempting to finish him off in the first two rounds of that bout, due to his lack of stamina.

Moreover in the process, he had taken several middle rounds off while allowing Bradley to gain a foothold back into the fight and ultimately winning it after falling behind very early due to his very low punch volume. Provodnikov only fought in spurts while Bradley dominated the middle rounds by out punching him by some 2 to 1 margin.

Also, lastly Mayweather has a much better defense than Timothy Bradley. He would never get hit with those same type of punches that Bradley did. Therefore, unless he hurts Floyd or knock him out, then there is no way Provodnikov is defeating Floyd with that kind of inconsistent work rate. If anything, he would run the risk of getting Gatti'd by him due to his poor stamina and low punch volume. Afterall, Money May likes to hit opponents who doesn't hit back. He is cautious enough to stay out of the exchanges,
I see your point but Bradley was out on his feet for 4 rounds which pacman did not do in 24 rounds

Ok, once again, Bradley is not Floyd. Never was never will be. They aren't even the same class of boxer. So u telling me what Ruskin did to Bradley means jack ****. Ruslan has a certain style that helped him in that fight. I never said Maidana was a great fighter, but the inverse of that is your argument makes next to nonsense then. I just asked u what Ruskin does that would trouble Floyd. What do u do? U bring up Bradley. They are nowhere near the same fighter. But I guess beating Bradley up for a few rounds makes u a great fighter, ehh? Never mind the fact he's done jack **** besides that and never kind his style is not at all one that would trouble a fighter like Floyd. He's an infighter? Hardly. He's a pressure fighter, sure, but he's a mid range fighter much more than a infighter, he doesn't throw nearly enough. He misses too much and he has crap stamina. Seriously kid. Learn some boxing and stop playing make believe. Can fighters out there give Floyd trouble? Sure, would this gut who's never even won on that level? Hell no.

If you can read I've already stated what Ruslan can do. Simply put, his pressure alone is enough to trouble most fighters, including Floyd. Nobody around the weightclass will have an easy time against this guy, even in victory. His pressure is real, his hooks and overhands are more compact than Maidana's, and he likes to feint, something Maidana did that clearly bothered Floyd. His footwork is going to have Floyd going to the ropes, and judging how pisspoor Floyd's defense looked against Maidana's feints, Ruslan would definitely land his shots in there, just how many, who knows, but he's going to land some solid blows and every shot landed is going to have the Floyd groupies messing themselves again.

Floyd could make Ruslan strap the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man around both of his fists and Ruslan would still hurt him through blocked shots and shoulder rolls.

If a class c-level maidana can beat floyd then I believe provo will give him nightmare in the ring even floyd demanded a pillow gloves.

Loll, so basically u assume Floyd is just like every other fighter and that he will be hit by this orthodox fighter. U ignore all the strengths and weaknesses of each and u go with a general synopsis of what this guy can do? Typical NSB logic...which is to say no logic at all. Not much to argue with here, it's clear u have appreciation for what either guy brings to the table.mu claim the guy is trouble for any fighter for 140 to 147 yet, he hasn't proven that to be the case. He hasn't beaten anyone of note for that to be the case. But yet he is a dangerous fight for Floyd. Lol. Ok.

provo doesn't win one round.......not one. i predicted a competitive 8-4/9-3 win for for floyd in the mayweather-maidana fight and everything i said came true. sorry but provo ain't the one, he's not good enough....in fact floyd could fight him on the inside for most the fight and still win comfortably.
