As far as it changing my opinion, no it doesn't. I've known about this stuff for quite some time though. I judge him on his boxing career. I don't worry about his personal life. I don't condone any of that, but I don't let that cloud my judgement as a boxing fan.

He fought for money?? He fought every lethal threat of his era - in most cases multiple times. He got paid to do it. Somebody doesn't understand the meaning behind the phrase "fighting for money."

Why do you guys give a flying freak what these guys are like outside the ring? They take a beating to the head for a living. You expect them to be normal?

You are not perfect yourselves and will never be great at anything so what fuels your hate for others who have worked hard and overcome many obstacles to be great at something.

We're all ****ed up in some way. Some of us just channelled it into doing great things.
