I've been saying for a long time that Kovalev beats him. It's even more clear after tonight. Stevenson leaves himself out of position way too much for an accurate hard hitter like Kryptonite. His stamina is suspect as well.

Stevenson definitely isn't a bum, but he is what we thought he was (h/t Dennis Green). That is, he's a power punching southpaw with questionable defense and stamina issues. And a crackable chin. If a good fighter can stay in there though the first four or five rounds, he's got a real shot at beating Stevenson.

It's pretty clear that he came to Showtime to make the fight with B-Hop who is actually ranked higher than Kovalev. On top of that, B-Hop equates to a bigger payday.
