Bell Centre, Montreal, Canada - Rising light heavyweight contender Eleider Alvarez (15-0, 8KO’s) won a ten round unanimous decision over Alexander Johnson (15-2, 6KO’s). All three judges saw it 97-92. The fight was fought at a slow pace for the most part. Alvarez scored a knockdown in the fifth, but didn't do much to follow-up. Alvarez outboxed Johnson the rest of the way with little to no resistance.

Johnson ineffective jab couldn't find the range with his punches. Alvarez needs to fight at a faster pace let his hands go more. Medina no head movement J-Rock couldn't miss like target practice
