Charlo is what he is. Just a well schooled, disciplined pure boxer. Seems a little too robotic but he's still young and has a lot to learn. The thing about him is he will never look sensational because he doesn't have the mentality to press and finish. But continuing to match him up with fighters that won't disrupt his rhythm is a mistake. When he steps up he's going to have to learn to make adjustments.

I want to see him fight Angulo next.

Angulo would be problematic, even right now so I'm down to see it.

Angulo beats him, he isn't ready for him yet.

Me too. I think its a good fight. He's already beat Rosado which was a good step up fight. Now its time to bump up the comp a little more.

It's a tough fight but if he can't beat Angulo then its just time to accept that he's not an elite level fighter yet. I think its a good step up and win or lose he will learn something and be able to improve from it.

His brother is going after Molina which is a 10X more dangerous fight.

Jermell seems as good as his competition. He did great vs. a pressure fighter like Rosado. He did better than the much bigger opponents Gabe fought earlier like Quillin and J'Leon Love. Only GGG beat Rosado worse.

But against Ohta last night and D-Hop, he didn't look to good. Even though he looked better tonight vs. Ohta than against D-Hop last year. The only rounds he lost were the flash knock-down in round 3 and the low blow in round 9.

              Chris Pearson
              John Jackson
              Eddie Gomez
              Hugo Centeno
              Alfredo Angulo
              Julian Williams
              Willie Nelson
              Vanes Martirosyan
              Austin Trout
              Ishe Smith

I'd like to see him in the ring with any of those guys. A few are step ups (Trout; Smith; Angulo) a few are at his level (Nelson; Vanes some slightly below (Williams; Gomez.)

Mayweather, Lara (who he won't fight), Molina and Andrade are the Champs at 154. His brother is still targeting Molina, so it looks like an Andrade match up in inevitable as he's next on the ladder over at the WBO rankings.
