Furosemide, which is used to mask (hide) steroid use (so steroid users will not test positive for steroids).
It's also a diuretic.
The WBA's Gilberto Jesus Mendoza confirmed that the B sample, which was opened Tuesday, contained "a high presence of the substance furosemide."Last edited by The Hammer; 05-23-2014, 02:49 PM.Comment

that's true.
they are doing it wrong. you only go for peds once you have hit your natural physical plateau. these guys look like they didnt even bother to go to training camp and just went straight for the peds.Comment

This is the second time and they should go harsh on him. IF he cant keep clean then he should not be in the sport.
I don't care if other athletes are doing it. Jones has been caught twice alreadyComment

Why is it easy to punish those guys that is not big names in the sport of boxing? Did they ever suspend someone who have big names in boxing? I'm just wondering. I don't condone fighters using illegal substance period. But if they gonna suspend someone when get caught, suspend all of them who get caught using illegal substance.Comment

I think Bernard Hopkins has been on PEDs for years. He refused to take the test before he fought Pascal.
Whoever he fights next should demand random testing.Comment
