He needs to fight someone willing to fight. Maybe he can get Groves if Groves gets by Froch. Otherwise there is Kovalev.

Its a good fight regardless. I really don't want to see him fight either guy. Neither has the tools or talent to beat him. I honestly can't think of one guy in his weight class who I would want to see him fight. One weight class up is where things get more interesting but he's still able to make 168 and I don't like to see fighters leave where they are best at. He will grow out of that weight class eventually but till then there ain't a whole lot to do but comment.

ward's also got plenty of american sponsorships, and he works as a commentator part time on HBO.

IDK how much stock we should put into it, but I just googled celebrity net worth.....Ward is worth TWO million dollars....Carl Froch is worth TWENTY million dollars.

Ward broke son.....he better hope HBO hires him full-time or he's gonna have to start selling cars or something.

I think if Froch loses, he gets an immediate rematch. And I doubt he wants it with kovelev.

If Froch loses he will retire.

Froch is a brave man, but even he would not want to take 3 savage beatings in a row.

There's a no rematch clause that was one of George Groves demands and he took a big hit on his purse for that very reason... Remeber the IBF ruling about purses regarding Champion vs Challengers...

It is true...it's a fight between two domestic fighters....one perceived to be on his way up while the other is on the tail end of their career.

Some of the biggest fights were between domestic rivals...nothing wrong with saying that. This is a huge (I mean HUGE) domestic rivalry and I must say, even though I am not from Britain, I am sold and watching this! It is a domestic fight that has every hardcore fan in anticipation!

Ward is one of my faves, but just because he is p4p #2 isn't neccisarily meaning he is a huge attraction. There needs to be that fighter who can match him or give him a close fight to peak the interest of fans and in the States, boxing isn't big enough to do the same as the Groves/Froch rematch.

The only fight that could put 60-80,000 fans in seats in America is Mayweather/Pac but we won't see that one.

It is a domestic fight, Ward is 100% right in what he said.

Also they are fighting for an alphabet trinket not for the REAL super middleweight championship of the world.

Nothing wrong with that though. Personally I'm looking forward to the fight.
