Ill put it this way, he left hbo when he could have gotten more money facing Kovalev than going to showtime for facing fonfara. He wanted to face Hopkins? No problem, just face kovalev first and then go. But no, he decided to take the cheaper option and face fonfara instead. If thats not ducking i dont know what isComment

Just imagine what will happen at this site if Stevenson later in this year or the next year fght with Kovalev and knock him out cold. It would be ****ing hilarious. Just imagine, the Adonis haters would call Kovalev a bum after that or say that Stevenson was on PED's.Comment

Stevenson is a late bloomer, he's 36 years old, he wants to earn as much money as possible before the end of his carreer (probably 4-5 years). Now in the lhw division the are 4-5 top guys. Let's take a look.
Sequentially: Risk --> Kovalev>Hopkins>Pascal
Regard: Hopkins>Pascal>Kovalev. These are not facts but if you say that a B-Hop vs Adonis or a Pascal VS Adonis (in Montreal) show sell worse than a Kovalev VS Stevenson, I stongly disagree.
So Kovalevis the most risky fight for him but the least amount of money --> it would be totally sound if Stevenson fight with these guys in this order: B-Hop-->Pascal-->Kovalev. That sounds totally sensible for me. Both guys rose just last year, be a little more patient...
If Stevenson never face Kovalev? Okay, if that will be the case by the end of Adonis carreer, you'll right, but now you're just a pack of impatient haters.Last edited by HEND; 05-23-2014, 04:59 PM.Comment
