And people still wonder why Floyd won't work with Bob Arum ever again.

chavez is worth more with haymon and gbp then arum he obviously feels there is un tapped wealth there

I mean, Chavez is Mexican. If he wants to fight on his country's independence day I can't blame him.

2 different fan bases. Tickets to Floyd fights are sold to casinos. Very few seats get sold to the public. People that get tix to Floyd fights probably won't be going to a Chavez fight.

Besides, Floyd doesn't enter the ring until after midnight ET. Chavez fight will be over by then.

If they wanna go head to head with a Floyd PPV they better come correct. Needs to be a solid opponent and a deep card as well.

The Mayweather card will be strong for sure. It's supposed to have unification between Leo Santa Cruz and Scott Quigg on it.

Even Mayweather paid Arum to get out his contract with him

Floyd Mayweather Jr. rejected promoter Bob Arum's $8 million offer to fight welterweight titlist Antonio Margarito, and he instead exercised a provision in his contract to buy Arum out.

basically Chavez just killed his career. when he fights for Arum again, ol' Bob is going to throw him to the wolves and milk him for every cent. by the time Haymon gets him, he won't be worth piss.

Since when an adviser/manager makes offer to fighters? Offers are made by promoters and Networks. That story was BS. He probably promise him to make that much if he dont sign with TR and move to Showtime and Mayweather Promotions.

Chavez last fight HBO were talking about how he was reduced to fighting in half empty arenas. Still draws more than alot but think you guys/girls are overrating his drawing power

Stuff like this is why Mayweather vs Pac will never get made. Imagine if Chavez does leave and sign with Haymon you know Floyd will have him on one of his PPV undercards eventually next year.
