And that describes Gamboa to a tee ... He has balls and guts, and when he gets clipped good, he comes back whaling from every angle. And that's when he gets caught.

Against lesser fighters, Gamboa can get away with his recklessness, but with guys that don't lose their composure, they will make him pay dearly.

That finishing uppercut came when Gamboa was charging in .....

Even with all that Gamboa was still able to hurt TC. He needs to go back down to 130.

130 was a little big for him, 135 was another step but it's alright. He looked really good until he abandoned boxing to brawl, at 126 that was alright but not against guys so much bigger.

He can either stay here and fight smarter or drop back in weight, either way will see him to success IMO.
Hey great post man. No one forced him to take the fight. He looked like a million bucks early on so I can't accept that as an excuse. He just faced a guy that could adapt and switch it up tonight. I'd give you green but I'm all tapped out for today.

Looks like I won't get any action for a straight out win in the betting thread I made, so I'll make another.
Well. Got one right for a change.

Yeah, he hurt Crawford good ... But Gamboa should have done the same thing and held-on until his head clears.

Still I have no doubt that Gamboa will be back in the running to take somebodies belt soon.

If you watch the fight you will see every knockdown that occured Gamboa was ridiculously open for the shots.
Spot on man. You could tell that there would come a point where Gamboa would get wreckless and start lunging in and as soon as he did, that was it.

                  It clearly had an effect.

It is not an excuse. It just doesn't say much about Crawford's performance. It was thrilling, that doesn't mean it proved anything.

True, especially to not jump in to try and land a punch. Gamboa throws short punches on the inside with absolutely no power; his inside game is severely lacking. He also gets really frustrated because he is so superior, physically that when he isn't successful, he gets careless trying to gain ground. That is his biggest problem.....his mentality.
