Gamboa also rehydrated to WW against Farenas. That's why I think the best course of action is to stay at LW and become a more disciplined fighter. Either that, or take time off and lose some muscle so he could squeeze down to 130.

OK if he was only outweighed by 7 lbs then size really is not an issue as guys like Mayweather and Pacquiao are routinely outweighed by like 20lbs

He got carried away while the other guy was studying his **** and adapting like i said nearly on every post during the fight "hope he doesn't get crazy" but he did and he wouldn't have been himself if he didn't especially without a trainer he just shows up and hopes his athletic gifts will carry him, but he literally tried to climb too big a mountain with too many odds stacked against him.

He made the decision to do it, so he has to live with it and come to terms a man has to know its limitations can't just keep stacking the deck against yourself and hope for the best every time . Reality eventually catches up.

Crawfords final KD of Gamboa made Sport Centers top 10.

And they say boxing is dead.

Yes he is moving up in weight (apparently next fight) but he just destroyed an Olympic gold medalist(Who weighed 145). There really isn't any better quality of opposition at 140. Bigger guys and bigger punchers of coarse so there's always that risk of getting caught. But I don't see anybody that I would favor over him at 140 outside of having a punchers chance.

Even though he came in at 152 tonight doesn't mean he doesn't have room to fill in (size wise) at 140. So he should match up quite nice with

p4p material? Yes. But I'll agree he's not quite there yet. I just don't know who he could beat at 140 that has Gamboa's pedigree.
