have you ever watched a gamboa fight? he trades in every fight

only difference is he was fighting
      1) the biggest guy he's ever faced
      2) the most talented guy he's ever faced

Gamboa will be 33 years old in December, I don't know what the future holds for him at this point, he could move back down to 130 I guess

Crawford is legit, and I heard he's moving up to 140 after tonight

Looks like Crawford vs Algieri might be a good fight to make

Gamboa is stuck between his background and moving forward. I don't know if he has anyone that can inspirer him to learn the pro game but he better because he will head down the "opponent road" if he can't learn. Being tuff doesn't mean **** in the pros.
          night guys, decent fight. Ray

I wish the poll was public to prove I'm not just hating (because I picked Crawford by stoppage) but I think he is going to get overhyped from this fight. He's got skills for sure but the size advantage was huge. Couple that with Gamboa's notoriously weak chin and suspect defense, plus long layoff, and this result doesn't surprise me at all.

FOTY contender. Gamboa too small. Crawford surprised me going toe to toe, got his man out.

Stoppage a touch premature for me given it was 7 seconds from the end of the round.

I love Gamboa man, brilliant fighter and the heart of a lion.

The size difference really showed and his own agression cost him. I thought he was outboxing Crawford comfortably and got too confident (as usual), started throwing with his hands down and paid.

No complaints though, I thought he looked great at times and just lost to a bigger guy. I hope he drops back in weight as he'll own 126-130.

but its true what they say..Gamboa looking to brawl will only make the fight shorter
                    no it doesn't

ricky burns is a natural 135 who's been active

gamboa is a natural 126 who's not fought in over a year

He's not finished, no way. He looked sharp as hell at first. He needs to tighten up his defense and consider moving down, though.
