Not a mismatch, Sergio is the favorite but Cotto will pull this off.

Cotto could have let the weight issue go and just make the fight at 160.
This is just Cotto flexing his muscles. The fight is at 159, because Miguel Cotto said it will be at 159. Cotto is a boss.

Martinez is a very small middleweight. He could actually make the lightweight limit.

            Very small Middleweight?

Sergio Martinez and Miguel Cotto are both well on target to make weight for their June 7 World lineal middleweight championship at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Cotto is already mere ounces within the 160 lb. weight limit, according to results from his official weight documented during the World Boxing Council (WBC) mandatory 30-day pre-fight weight check. Fighters who are competing in a WBC-sanctioned bout must be within 10% of the contracted weight at the 30-day point, and no heavier than 5% by seven days prior to fight night.

Martinez tipped the scales at 170 lb., well within the allowed limit, while Cotto—making his middleweight debut–came in at 160.2 lb.

Here's what Martinez probably looked a month away from from the Cotto fight:

LMAO at the people point at 170lbs as if that means anything...Yes let's forget that this man couldn't even walk fast for an entire year and could do zero cardio for that time and was only cleared to do cardio work after the fight was signed. I see lots of people on here who are about to lose their bets on fight night. Martinez is not Cotto, Cotto had to move up in weight because he has always hated cardio work and dieting. So now Cotto's fighting closer to his walk around weight of 160 something but still wayyy too small, i've said it since he left 147 his success will be dramatically limited because of his height and reach.
