GGG or Thurman. Both guys have power but neither has faced any real comp. Sure GGG beat Macklin but that was after dude took almost a year off with no warmup fight and got caught with a solid liver punch. Stevens just had power, no real technique and limited skill.

Thurman is sloppy and I think it will only be a short while before he "steps it up" and gets starched while trying to throw some haymaker.

Please, people were saying Broner was going to carry the sport and be an ATG after Floyd retired, lmao. Many more people on here were nipping at his sack than calling him a hypejob. The tune flipped 180 degrees after the Maidana fight obviously.

Lol I hope you are joking..No one likes Broner. No one agrees with any ranking of his, no one think highly of him. There's like 5 fans of his here and that's it. The other guys get wayyyyy more hype by a much larger crowd.

Someone like Matthysse was never hyped as the next big thing as Broner was, he was just expected to beat Garcia because most people thought Garcia ****** and wouldn't take his shots. On the other hand, Broner was the new face of boxing, Mayweather 2.0 with better power.

Wasn't he hyped up around this time last year as the guy Mayweather was going to duck once he knocks out Garcia...

Anthony Joshua- his hype ceiling is unlimited...once more people see him and he keeps knocking out journeymen, his hype will be huge within the next 18 months

I don't know how you can be a hype job and be a legit top ten in the division.

GGG, Kovalev, Matthysse are all proventop ten in their division. Their style and power has gave them a following. People like fan friendly fighters. How does that make them hype jobs?

And why are people pretending that Broner before the Maidana fight wasnt the huge favorite and at least half the board was thinking he was going to be something. He lost, and everyone wants to pretend that wasn't real? Come the **** on.

Another bad joke? The consensus on BS even before the Garcia and Maidana fights respectively, was that Matthysse beats Broner

I mean, I think he does now, but yeah, Broner wasn't as hyped as Matthysse. He had questionable wins over Quintero, PDL and Malignaggi and every one always brought those up, while every one brought up Matthysse's robbery losses over Alexander and Judah. Even in losing clearly there was an excuse for Matthysse.

I certainly don't like Broner and really not many Floyd fans do, despite they get lumped up as the same fanbase, for subtle race baiting from trolls.

Terence Crawford going over to Scotland earlier this year and winning the championship from Ricky Burns is an accolade that no one is talking about. It's because he isn't the type these hype beast will stand behind.. Although he's about to fight a Gamboa that a certain fighter in Oxnard, Cali didn't want to test himself against.
I watched Spence fight a scrub a month ago. Kid is good, but he's got a long way to go.
