I just posted these pictures in another thread, but I figured I would start another (not related to predictions) to share some of this info.
Full disclosure: I am a former amateur training partner of Willie Monroe Jr. and, more importantly, I am fortunate enough to consider him a good friend. I just want to make this clear because, clearly, I am not a detached observer going into Friday's fight.
Anyway, just to report: Monroe is very sharp and in good condition -- he was 162 on Tuesday evening. They spent the day in gym running through the gameplan and making sure to stay on point physically. He seems to be in a good place mentally -- confident, but serious and certainly aware of how dangerous Adams is.
Here are a couple of photos from the end of the day. From left: Sherman Henson (head trainer at Legend's Gym), Jeff Lacy, Monroe, and Danny Akers (Monroe's trainer and my former amateur trainer).
