Are you drunk? How about actually being known by people other than hardcore fans, that's a start. True legends transecend the hardcore fanbase and win over casuals, and he doesn't have a great resume either. Ward has the talent to become an ATG someday, but it stops there, for now. Talent/skill/gift doesn't make you ATG, using that talent/skill/gift to do great things makes you ATG.

Holy chet I thought this was about Ward for some reason.

Froch won't be either, but he has a better chance than Ward for the sole reason that though he lacks the same technical skills, he has a huge fanbase and has exciting fights, so like Ward, it's more palatable to see him as a low end HOFer than someone with all the skills in the world who has a decent resume but sputtered out and was more interested in commenting than fighting. I love Froch, but he needs mroe to his resume and he is on the tail end of his career, ATG no, HOF someday I hope, but I want him to do things that will make up for his loss to Ward, that fight was a legacy changer, if he wins that fight people look at Froch much differently.

of course an ATG, what place should he be placed in that list is up for debate but not his ATG status.

He's a PPV fighter who has just fill an 80,000 stadium, he doesn't really fall down on that front but I don't think popularity should have anything to do with all time greatness. It's really about who a fighter beat.

If you reload the page you will realize I thought this was about Ward not Froch, lol. And I agree its about your resume but to me you need both a resume and a fanbase to be acknowledged.

I would consider him a HOF but not an ATG.
