I had planned to attend this one. But the more I thought about it, it's a mismatch. This is a fight that under normal circumstances I wouldn't even order on PPV. But I've become somewhat of a Cotto fan over the years. Honestly, I never disliked him. He just had a period there where he was the it guy for the mutant "Please Kick Floyd's Ass" pep clubbers. But those freaks have long since moved on to Margarito, then Mosley, then Pac, then Canelo, now its Martinez, GGG, Thurman, Porter, and even Pac is now somehow back in their good graces. So now that those clowns are off his peter, I can enjoy whatever is left of his career. So I'll probably cough up $70 to likely watch him get the **** kicked outta him hoping he can pull an upset. But even if he does. It's more an incitement on how far Martinez has slipped more so than how good Cotto is at this point.Comment

I just LOVE how people forget that the entire world of boxing was avoiding Martinez after his dismantling of Paul Williams who the world of boxing was also ducking....just love these short term memories. He fought c level fighters, well tell me one B or A level fighter who has been willing to step up to the plate and fight him? Oh that's right, he called out the top guys in the sport and was willing to fight at practically any weight needed to get them in the ring...they all said....exactly nothing at all.

I saw "Miguel Cotto-Sergio Martinez 'Face Off' with Max Kellerman". It looked like Sergio genuinely dislikes Cotto. There's something about Cotto that does make him unlikeable. Martinez is going to try to hurt him. Should be a good fight, but PPV??Comment

Yeah before every fight, he fought over 50 fights and "cried" before the Chavez & Cotto bout...so statistically this is like saying "man does Khan get knocked out in every fight?"...back to Martinez behaviour, that is total understandable...Cotto is the biggest diva & Chavez the biggest unprofessional (maybe after Solis) in boxing, Martinez loves boxing and worked hard to get where he is at now, Chavez did nothing and became a millionaire for fighting nobodies and had the nerve to call him a champion & Cotto disrespected the whole boxing tradition with coming in last even though he isnt the champion (something that even Pac & Floyd respected) so he got every right to be upset with those two.Comment

You know I had intended on being there. But dropping $1500-$2k to watch Cotto get his teeth kicked in just don't make sense. But hey, if K*r**a shows up. I might change my mind last minute:bukkake:Comment
