Lara didn't take more damage than Angulo. He got dropped twice. So what? How many times has Juan Manuel Marquez been dropped in his last 10 fights? Scoring a knockdown is only worth 1 point.
He won 6-7 out of the 9 rounds and was clearly winning round 10. Despite the 2 KDs he was still winning on the judges scorecards in a fight where GBP didn't want him to win.
It wasn't as bad of a performance as everybody makes it out to be. It just further exposed his poor inside game which he didn't develop over the course of 300 or so amateur fights.
