Seeing as no-one ever provided a legitimate why one fighter demanded another fighter leave his promoter if he wanted to make a fight (an unprecedented demand in boxing history), it dawned on me that the only reason this thing about leaving Arum was brought up was basically to continue the GBP/Haymon strategy - of (trying to) kill Top Rank, and establishing their own monopoly. That is their end goal.
I mean, for God's sake - it doesn't matter how acrimonious Floyd's split with Top Rank was, trying to get Pac to ditch the guy who made him a superstar made no ****ing sense on a logical level.
All this crying cos Pac signed with Arum......please. Spare me.
Floyd goading Pac into leaving Arum was a political manoeuvre, and quite frankly, Pac would have been weak getting ****** into that ****, all so he could get ****d by Haymon/Mayweather at the negotiation table without Arum being there.
There is no other logical reason Floyd would ask Pac to leave Arum.
