I certainly don't think he'd beat either Klitschko but I've been wrong about things before, It seems hard to imagine him of all people doing it?
For the British sake I hope he does though that's the only reason.
I don't know how people could find him irritating.

      He's a sweetheart.

Well to be fair, Vitali punches from the hips, I can't recall him sitting down on his punches ever. His punching style came from his days in kickboxing! Bearing this in mind he still has his fair share of vicious knockouts!

I'd stake a bet on Vitali being a lot more heavy handed than Fury but Tyson's punch technique adding to greater one punch power!

Following on from my first point, let's not get things twisted here...Johnson was an undefeated fresh contender when he fought Vitali. Hell, even Chisora dropped Johnson quite heavily when they fought - so Chisora punches heavier than Fury and Vit?! Once you're a turtle punching bag for a few losses where you get generally beaten up, you're going to feel punches more later on.

          Same with Briggs.

In any case, fighters aren't the same after Vitali...the list is quite substantial - Peter, Adamek, Sanders, Briggs, Kirk Johnson, Kevin Johnson...even Lewis. Hell - almost everyone he fought, hence the fact Vitali never had to fight a rematch in his career.

Notice how all the guys you mentioned, except Adamek, where nothing to begin with either?

When Fury came through, I didn't think he could punch worth anything, but since starting with Peter in 2011 or so, he's fast becoming a quick, busy, huge heavyweight who can punch with both hands.

And he's rivalling Angel Garcia for funniest man inside boxing.

              What do you think?

              Is he the next champ?

Well, let's not go into their skill levels - I'm not talking about that - I'm simply stating these guys weren't the same after Vitali...and to be fair, Briggs was a decent fighter back in the day, beat Foreman. Sanders was a underrated underachiever but beat Wlad. Peter was decent in his prime, ran younger Wlad close and had the WBC strap for a while. Lewis, well - we don't know for sure how he would have been but definitely no better IMO... So there are decent guys in there, not absolute greats, but decent.

Of course Vitali hits like a ***** because he couldn't put away an old career heaviest Lennox Lewis... but for some reason Weltz thinks that made Lewis prime??? love to know what you're smoking boi

Briggs was a decent at best fighter 13 years prior to fighting Vitali who ran from a 50 year old foreman to get a close decision. Hardly the stuff of dreams.

Sam Peter in his prime? Was this before or after he was handled by a fat midget middleweight in James toney? Or after he was knocked down 3 times vs McCline?

None of those guys were any good, come on.

Fury hits harder than the current Vitali, the young Vitali im not too sure about, im sure Herbie Hide might beg to differ. But Vitali I assume is abetter boxer with more boxing ability and smarter. He is a dr afterall.

Fury hits hard, but made hard work of Cunningham. So id say Deontay hits harder.
