GEORGE GROVES wants to knock Carl Froch out inside three rounds - even though his trainer is telling him to do it in five.

The 26-year-old Hammersmith fighter faces IBF and WBA super-middleweight champion Froch in their highly-anticipated rematch on Saturday week at Wembley in front of 80,000 fans.

Froch, 36, won the first fight with a ninth-round stoppage, but many believe referee Howard Foster called it off too early.

Groves landed the perfect punch in round 1, and then landed his best bombs on Froch all night, and still couldn't KO him. Get real George, if you win, it will be points.

Hell, I have to wake up at 6AM to watch it...and I WILL! lol

I cannot help but think that Groves could be right with his prediction, because his last one was correct, except he ended up not revealing that he would put Froch down the first round....I am cheering for Froch, but if I was a hardcore Froch fan-I would be weary-lol

TBH Groves burned out his stamina in the last fight, gave it his all and had a perfect excuse with the ref stepping in...imo I believe Froch was taking him down anyways. Every punch Froch did land made Groves limp to a clinch or sapped away his strength.

It went from Groves dictating the fight with his jab and counters over Froch's jab, all the way to having to fight Froch off of him-and when he had to fight Froch off of him he fell into Froch's style. A part of me thinks that Groves wants to get him out early because the longer it goes could be more risky or dangerous for him.

Groves isn't as confident as he tries to appear. He nailed Froch with everything and couldn't stop him. Froch was shaking like a shitting dog after the knockdown and Groves couldn't end it.

Of course he was. Groves was about to get brutally knocked out, and he should be thanking Howard Foster for looking after his health & getting him another massive payday. Groves can't take a punch, ask Kenny Anderson.

If Groves boxes smart he can outbox and repeatedly tag Froch with everything bar the kitchen sink if he wants. If he gets careless and allows Froch to steamroller him, it will another tko stoppage to Froch.
