WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson was putting in some hard work for the local and international press, as he prepares for Saturday's title defense against top Polish contender Andrzej Fonfara at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. Stevenson, after fighting several times on HBO, will be making his televised debut on Showtime. If Stevenson is successful, Showtime will likely attempt to match him against IBF/WBA champion Bernard Hopkins. Photos by Robert Levesque/Photo Zone Sport. [Click Here To Read More]

Stevenson disappointed his fans or at least me a lot with Kovalev ducking. I still support him cuz he's from Canada, but that was bad.Comment

This guys huge-looks like Alister Overeem....Not that I'm saying Adonis is on the juice....I'm sure the Hopkins fight gets made, but he should have fought Kovalev-another guy making waves in the division instead of old man Bernard, which is why he prefers Hopkins.
I'm not sure if Stevenson even gets by Hopkins, but it shows that he believes there is less of a threat with Hopkins as opposed to KOvalev.Comment

Stevenson looking huge but sometimes that not enough. There is a big chance this can be like Ishida vs Kirkland. The lankier and taller fighter can keep the bigger and powerful fighter at the end of his punches and possibly hurt and stop him. This is an intriguing matchup between Fonfara and Stevenson and this will answer a lot of questions I still have about Stevenson like whether he can take a punch as good as he gives.Comment

My guess is Fonfara revisits the match-up between him and Derrick Finley....he's tall and lanky, but is very hittable with a dodgey chin. He is gonna be a bobble-head within 5 rounds....I hope I'm wrong. lolComment
