They could use a different lab not necessarily USADA, but as long as it's approved and follows the WADA protocol then it would be fine. Which is what NSAC did with the Marquez-Bradley.

It is good that Pacquiao's corner is learning. Strict drug testing should be a must in every fight. Every fighter likes to win...but some fighters will do anything just to win.

They should take it a step further and have full-on genome testing! Marquez looked like he was half bullfrog in the Alvarado fight, who knows what scientific experiments Angel Hernandez is putting him through.

there is a big difference between totally avoiding a blood test and setting up a cut off date. in the case of manny vs floyd negotiation in 2009 they haven't agreed between manny's 4 weeks cut off date and floyd's 2 weeks. i think both have valid reasons to walk away even if both reasons are psychological. its 2014 manny, floyd and marquez have undergone blood testing- su****ions about blood testing negative effects are almost all gone. in 2009 random blood testing is not that really commonplace and manny is not really open in trying new things. in 2014 almost everyone would agree to it. between 2009 and 2014 perspective about random blood test changed.
