Older Past Prime 2002 Lewis vs Current Wlad.

Throughout the years, Lewis-Wlad has always been an interesting 'side debate' to the main tko6 one. On various forums around the internet, the end poll results are usually 70-30 in favor of Lewis(with a few 80-20's).

How will the older past prime version of Lewis that fought Tyson do against the older past prime version of Wlad that fought Povetkin and Leapei.

Make no mistake. Wlad is past prime. As Lewis was when he fought Tyson. The main reasons Wlad and Lewis still looked great was because Leapei is extremely average and Tyson was a shot version.

For true heavyweight fans, you could tell that both Lewis and Wlad were slower, less agile, and didn't quite have the athleticism they did.

So how will the 2002 Tyson-Lewis do against the current Povetkin/Leapei Wlad?

Klitschko can't stay out of range in a safety zone and jab Lewis. He's going to get hit and he doesn't react well when that happens.

Ive always given wlad a better chance against lewis than most others based on the fact lewis did tend to get hit with right hands and wlads is much more accurate and powerful than rahmans and mcalls. of course the opposite is also true. this would have been a tough one to call imo

Lewis would render Wlad unconscious. Wlad has been spared from fighting fighters like him.

Lewis was even better than Wlad at being a jab and clinch borefest.

              Lewis UD 12.

                Lewis would flatten Klitschko.

I would be amazed if Wlad lasted 3 rounds with the 2002 Lewis, it would be as good as over the first time Lewis landed an even half decent shot. The Klitchko's are lucky boys to have come along at a time when there is no real live opposition for them.

Lennox knew how to box and how to fight. He could box wlad and take it to him close and wouldnt let wlad muscle him around as he is just as big and maybe stronger. Both men can get knocked out but i think lewis wouls take it four times of five. He is more of a fighter and more versatile. Wlad can only fight one way.
