Why do people talk about Wlad and Vitali as if they fight the same way?

Genuine question. I see people talk about the "Klitschko style" and make references inferring that they fight the same way. I've always seen a pretty distinct difference between them and while I don't care for Wlad's style, Vitali was cool in my book.
Is it confusion? Hate? I always wondered this and was bored enough to finally ask it here.

Nah I think people are aware. But they are obviously referring to wlad since he has been way more active.

I think vitali gives any HW in history a tough fight.

good question, I have often wondered about this too.

IMO Wlad is basic textbook everything, but he has perfected it. he throws 95 % straight punches, while Vitali mixes it up abit more! I very much enjoy watching him fight though. (except the Povetkin fight)

Vitali you could almost call elusive, he is great at avoiding punches by moving his upper body and head. he also punches from very wierd angles with everything besides his jab. I also feel Vitali moves more around the ring to set up his offence, and he holds less.

I believe it is confusion though, I have heard some people say they can't tell who is who when they are standing besides each other so, who knows?

I just believe they've reigned for long enough and people don't like it.

I don't know. It's bad on both sides in general about combining the two brothers, as if they're the same person. Haters hate on Vitali as if he clinches like Wlad, and the nuthuggers try to combine their accomplishments as if Vitali deserves the same recognition as Wlad.

They're 2 entirely different people. Treat them as such.

            Oftentimes it's obviously hate.

Many people, especially in America, I think confuse them too. Some Americans can't even tell the difference between them.

And yes, they are really quite different fighters.

That's another obvious thing. The way they have dominated for so long as a duo, without fighting each other. People dislike that.

I don't mind Vitali. He was far more game to come and have a fight.
