If you think Thurman outboxes Chino cleanly, you're smoking some good ****, homeboy. The best boxer on the planet couldn't box him cleanly, yet you think a hypejob will? Thurman is good but I'm being realistic. Chino would ruin him.

You do know Maidana ducked Thurman a while back right? Not sure if it was a
"business decision" or something else but Maidana backed out of their fight.

I'm a fan of both and consider it an even fight, if anything the edge might go to Thuman because he's the bigger man.

Maidana-Thurman would end one of two ways, which ever occurs first...

Maidana by KO. (60% probability)

Or Thurman by body shot KO. (40% probability)

I feel it's 60-40 Thurman, he's more likely to land the shot imo, he's still got his legs. I actually think he took bigger shots from Chaves (who broke his nose) than he would from Maidana.

So is he a hypejob or is he good? Chino wouldn't ruin him, because Thurman can throw bombs while moving around on the backfoot. Chino is soft to the body too and you saw how Thurman's last fight ended.

You can be both. Some guys are good fighters but their hype exceeds their skill. Canelo is the perfect example, the boy can fight but anyone who knew anything about boxing knew that Floyd was going to box his ears off, yet the media and casual fans made it like he was going to beat him. Donaire also comes to mind, hes a good fighter but he got a ton of hype by knocking out undersized and old fighters. He was never a top 3 p4p guy like some rated him, but that doesn't make him a bad fighter

We still don't know if Canelo's any good to be honest, just that he's better than Angulo beyond the LMW weight limit. He really needs to assert himself in the Lara bout, another loss would relegate his status significantly.

It's funny, Thurman wants the Canelo fight and I couldn't say he wouldn't beat him. I take your point though, just felt that poster was flip-flopping.
